Education background
In March 1985, he graduated in Economics and Business, University of Bologna. Final mark: 110 (highest possible grade) with first-class honours, Prof. Giorgio Bernini. Then, in June 1986, he passed the Board Examination to obtain the professional qualification to practice as Chartered Accountant. In 1986 he enrolled to the Association of Chartered Accountants of the Province of Ravenna.
In 1986, he continued deepening his professional knowledge by attending the postgraduate course in “The Chartered Accountant and the special corporate operations” at the Bocconi University in Milan.
Course supervisor: Prof. Fabrizio Gardi – Milan. Then, in 1987, he passed the Postgraduate course in “Master in Tax Law” at the Bocconi University in Milan. Course supervisor: Prof. Victor Uckmar,
attorney. Finally, in 1994, he passed the Postgraduate course in “Theory and practice of financial
auditing according to international standards” (Venice).
In the scholar world, he was sessional professor of level II Master of “ Financial Statement Analysis and significant indicators for economic assessment” at “Crisal – University of Ferrara” during 2010-2012.
Knowledge of spoken and written English. He also expanded his journalist activities, first as a leader writer for the “Il Giornale delle partite Iva” monthly magazine as head of the “Forum Economia” column; at present he writes for the online newspapers “Ilsussidiario.net” and “Leformiche.it”.

In July 1988, he graduated in Economics and Business at the University of Bologna, and in 1989 he
obtained an MBA degree at PROFINGEST – Alma Graduate School of Bologna School for Company and Bank Managers under direction of Prof. Romano Prodi.
In 1985 he obtained the accountant professional qualification by enrolling with the College of
Accountants of Ravenna and, after the unification took place, with the Association of Chartered
Accountants and Auditors.

Mr. Francesco Amatulli
Auditor
Francesco Amatulli became part of the staff of Studio Longhi in 2016.
In 2001, he entered the world of auditing as auditor of working groups in partnership with the main
auditing players such as PriceWaterhouseCooper, KPMG and EY. Then, he continued working as an
auditor for Mazars S.p.A. auditing firm.
He has gained specific expertise in the audit of industrial and service companies, co-operatives, public companies (IAS/IFRS financial statements, prospectuses, pro-forma financial statements), consolidated financial statements, in accounting and reporting due diligence.
He also has expertise in:
- management control and accounting aspects using the SAP management system;
- drafting of annual and interim financial statements;
- drafting of the budgets;
- drafting of business reports;
- spending review;
- drafting of business plans for investment projects, economic and financial planning as well as procedures for composition with creditors in direct or indirect going on concern, and debt restructuring plans.

In April 2000, he graduated in Economics and Business at the University of Bari and continued his specialisation attending “ABAS” and “Team Manager” courses organised by “PriceWaterhouseCooper”.

- business assessment and fairness opinions, acquisition and transfer of companies and packages of shares;
- restructuring of corporate debt and advisor for preparing economic-financial plans;
- bankruptcy proceedings;
- implementation of business restructuring plans, in the Administration and Finance area, covering operational roles within the staff of top-ranking positions;
- corporate finance.
In his professional career, he has held operational roles at Banca IMI and Ferragamo S.p.A., to finally arrive at the consulting area as manager of the Emilia Romagna territory of Deloitte Financial Advisory Services S.p.A. and Ernst & Young Corporate Finance. Since 2008, he becomes a professional by collaborating with Studio Longhi as well as holding independent consulting roles in entities and companies.
Education background
In 1984 he graduated in Economics and Business with first-class honours at the University of Bologna; afterwards he specialised in strategic corporate finance and was awarded the Master’s in Financial Intermediation (MIF) in 1988 at BNL – General Directorate – in collaboration with SDA Bocconi, Finance Division. Subsequently, he registered with the Chartered Accountants Association, Bologna branch. In the scholar world, in 2007 -2009 he was a sessional professor at the University of Bologna, in the School of Economics & Business, at level II Master in “Mergers & Acquisitions”; writer and speaker at professional training courses organised by the Foundation of the Association of Chartered Accountants and Tax Advisors of Bologna.
